Mirroring data for extra peace of mind. Software Raid 1 Mode is the most popular mode for the Software Raid SSD enclosure. It can mirror your data to two different SSDs, so you will always have a backup if one SSD malfunctions.

The Mac mini M4 Dock features internal conductive shielding to reduce Wi-Fi interference, even with high-speed 10Gbps USB-A ports. This ensures stable wireless performance for seamless streaming, video calls, and large downloads with minimal disruptions.

FAQ
SSD naturally generate heat during operation, which can cause elevated temperatures in the docking station.
What to expect:
- Normal operating temperature: 40-50°C after 1 hour of use
- Extended use temperature: 50-60°C after 2+ hours
- The device is designed to handle these temperatures safely
Troubleshooting steps:
1. Check your connection – Ensure the external cable to your computer is firmly seated and undamaged
2. Power stability – Connect your computer’s power adapter to both the Mac Mini M4 host and the included 30W PD adapter to the dock for consistent power delivery
This is expected behavior. When the dock connects to dual monitors, SSD performance may decrease due to shared bandwidth.
For maximum storage performance: Consider disconnecting one monitor during intensive file transfers.
