SSDs of 1TB or smaller don’t need extra power when used with a phone. For SSDs of 2TB or larger (over 3.3V 1.8A), connect a power supply when using with a phone. No extra power is needed with a computer.

Q2. What type of phone interface is required for it to work properly?

The product requires a full-function USB-C interface on your phone. Without a full-function USB-C port, features like HDMI output may not work correctly.

Q3. How do I use the cable with my phone?

The product’s cable is relatively stiff. For optimal performance, gently press and bend the cable a few times at the folding points before use, particularly with iPhone 15 series devices. We recommend using this product with large-screen phones like the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Plus, or other large-screen Android devices for the best experience.
